These Nashville Hot Honey Butter Chicken Sliders are so so good.

Using frozen chicken nuggets, a perfect hot honey butter sauce to toss them in and perfectly moist slider buns with pickles.

These were amazing and everybody wanted more!

These are the perfect dinner for those crazy nights or the perfect appetizer!

How To Make Nashville Hot Honey Butter Chicken Sliders

A spread of slider buns, breaded chicken patties, pickle slices, mayonnaise, melted butter, hot sauce, spice mixture, and a stick of butter on a white surface.

Ingredients

  • 24 oz bag of crispy boneless chicken bites (or your favorite frozen chicken nuggets/bites)
  • 12 count Hawaiian rolls
  • 1/4 cup of mayo
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp of unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 2 tbsp of franks red hot hot sauce
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • 1 tsp of cayenne powder
  • 16 oz jar of pickle chips

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Cook the chicken bites in the air fryer or oven according to the package.

Take the slider buns and slice them whole from the side.

Remove the top layer and set aside.

Mix the mayo with the garlic powder and spread on the bottom of the buns.

In a large bowl add the butter, honey, hot sauce, paprika and cayenne powder.

Stir to mix.

2. Add the cooked chicken to the bowl and stir until the chicken is completely coated.

Add the chicken all over the buns.

Top with pickle slices all over.

 3. Carefully cut each slider off.

(Note you will probably cut some pickles and chicken, that’s okay!)

Tips and tricks!

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days.
  • You can taste the sauce and see if you’d like to add more hot sauce or not.
  • You can assemble each slider separately if you’d like, I just find it easier and faster to do it this way.
  • You can use whatever hot sauce you’d like, I just think franks is perfect for this recipe.
